See? I wasn’t joking.

That biggest bedroom in the bottom right corner is mine! awww yeah! I didn’t even have to fight for it. Biggest bedroom but not big enough for all of my stuff, what up! Does anyone know where one can store 100 pairs of shoes in a 10x12 bedroom with a closet only 3/4 as big as the one I currently have now?

there are 1.5 bathrooms. They are right next to each other. I mean RIGHT next to each other. They share a wall. Both have hall entrances. Neither share a door with a bedroom. They’re just two bathrooms thrown together in the middle of the apartment.

I think one will most likely be our designated guest bathroom. Either that or my never-ending hair products will take over bathroom #2. Won’t you come over for our housewarming party on May 15th and use our guest bathroom or better yet, my hair products’ bathroom?

Attention curly haired readers: You need this product in your life!

I recently purchased Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk ($12) from Sephora. After showering I wait about 10 minutes and then apply the Hair Milk into my hair. It defines my natural curls and keeps them soft, frizz free and gorgeous. It only takes a tiny bit to do all of my hair. I’d say I use about a quarter sized amount. You must buy this! I know I just told you to buy another thing for your hair but using them together will produce lovely results.

I’m also using their shampoo ($12.50) and conditioner ($20) which I also cannot say enough good things about.

Am I happy about spending $50 every two months on hair products? Ugh no. Not at all. I’m dreading having to restock. Am I glad I finally found something that tames my curls? Yes yes yes!

Claire and I have found an awesome 3 bedroom/2 bath place to live with a patio that opens up on to the pool. It’s awesome. We would have awesome BBQs and invite all of tumblr. Here’s the problem: WE NEED A THIRD ROOMMATE.

If you or anyone you know wants to live with two fun beautiful amazing incredible lovely ladies then please let me know! We’ll even give you the master! I tried lurking craigslist for people that needed roommates and I’m just not comfortable living with 40 year old divorced men.

I appreciate what the SunChips brand is doing for the environment. I think it’s awesome that they’ve made a 100% compostable chip bag and I hope that in the future all of our packaging will be completely compostable with one small change.

CAN YOU MAKE IT A LITTLE QUIETER?

This bag of Harvest Cheddar SunChips sitting next to me is the loudest packaging I have ever encountered. Every time I ruffle the bag Cleo jumps. I woke my dad up pulling them out of the pantry. This is not a joking matter. The fine people at SunChips need to tone it down.

Edited to add: I just noticed on the back of the bag it says “This bag is LOUDER BECAUSE it is compostable” Alright SunChips, I see you’ve recognized the problem. I just hope you’re working it out.

This is #174. That’s right - he doesn’t even have a name. Some rescue groups are working on getting him pulled before he is euthanized (via heartstick no less) but he will still need a WONDERFUL home.

He is in Youngstown, Ohio and will be available for adoption on March 9, but if he isn’t scooped up within a few days he will die. Sorry, but it’s the ugly truth.

This dog came in as a stray and there is no background information.

This is a story about my 4 year old nasty beat up Vanderbilt shirt. We met in AP American History in my junior and his senior year. I was in love with his best friend, completely oblivious as usual that he liked me at all. We eventually grew closer mostly due to me trying to get closer to his friend. He decided to enlist in the army reserves after he graduated from high school. I was there for his prom, I was there for his graduation.

My parents went out of town the night before he left for boot camp so naturally 17 year old me threw a party. He stayed over. We slept next to each other that night and just held hands. He never tried to do more than that with me. He never tried to make me uncomfortable. We just held hands.

Two weeks later his mother IMed me and told me all he talked about on his 10 minute phone call was me and how much he wanted me to write to him. So I wrote. I wrote all summer. He wrote back as you can see above. I didn’t see him again until December.

We had talked on the phone occasionally but we were both busy being a senior in HS/freshman in college. Busy years, you know? He came home from Christmas break and events transpired. He first put his arms around me while listening to Sarah Beth by Rascal Flatts. I still can’t listen to this song. He drove me home, walked me in and tucked me in to bed. He told me how great his school was in Nashville and how I should apply/attend. I applied and was accepted. I accepted their acceptance.

In June I left for my orientation. I got there and things were weird. He was no longer the person I loved so much, the person I wrote letters to, the person I wanted to hold my hand. We had a miserable night. We slept next to each other and didn’t touch. Things had just changed. I hated my future roommate. I hated being there. I realized the first night there that I was there for all of the wrong reasons. Did I want to be in Nashville? Not at all! I left early the next day. At the airport I realized my friends would want to know how school was. I wasn’t ready to tell anyone so I bought my Vanderbilt tshirt at the airport store.

We talked occasionally after that but it was clear that what we had was meant to stay in the past. He still wishes me a happy birthday every year and I still ask about his parents every now and then. He’s married now. To an absolutely beautiful and sweet girl. Before he was married I imagined myself so many times running to Nashville to tell him how I still feel about him. The cards are off the table now that he’s married, of course.

Things went sour, but things were so sweet. I hope to God I find someone like that again, every day.

The bag finally arrived. It actually had arrived before I made my angry post early. Do you know why I didn’t know it had arrived? Because instead of bringing it to the door the UPS delivery man stuffed the huge package in our regular sized mailbox that’s 1/4 mile from our house. Thanks to Urban Outfitters the bag was mailed in what seemed like a shopping bag with no other protective layer. Clearly UPS and Urban Outfitters are a great team.

I know you were all probably very concerned about the whereabouts of my bag. You probably wouldn’t have been able to sleep tonight. Now you have your update and I have my pretty new bag to tote around as soon as Cleo is done sleeping on it.

I placed an order with them over a week ago and it still hasn’t arrived. It shipped from South Carolina. I live in North Carolina. It should’ve taken two days max. Where is my new bag, Urban? UPS has said my bag is “on the truck” for two days now. UPS, this doesn’t sit well with me.

Last week I bought CoverGirl Shine Blast lipglosses in clear and in a peachy color. I could not hate these more. They made my lips super dry. There was no shine anywhere to be found. I applied the clear in the car and by the time I got inside of the store you couldn’t tell I had applied anything. These are a real big waste of $8. Stay away! I put towels down on my couch so that Mags couldn’t get his fur all over the couch. Well, someone outsmarted me. After he messed up all of my careful towel work he perched himself on the arm of the couch and there he has stayed for about two hours. I believe he’s staging a sit-in.
